About Event
Department of Commerce organized a human chain awareness programme on ‘Women Empowerment’ on 21st December, 2021. The human chain was aimed to address the student community on the importance of women and their empowerment. Dr. R. Mohanakrishnan, Director – sports, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, felicitated this program.  Dr. J. Umadevi, Assistant professor, Department of Commerce gave the welcome address. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal gave the presidential address. 120 students from Department of Commerce participated in the human chain. The human chain was organized starting from the college campus to SRM IST administrative building. Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal and Head, Department of Tamil proposed the vote of thanks
