Department of English conducted an awareness rally to observe the “World Environmental Health Day” on 26th September 2023. The rally was aimed to create an awareness about everyone’s responsibility and moral duty of preserving the natural resources ecosystem and to control polluting the environment. The rally was flagged off by Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal. Around 100 of students and staff members took part in the rally shouting the slogan on the importance of saving the Earth for the progeny. The participants held the placards displaying slogan and images to save the Earth. Pamphlets carrying awareness massages were also issued to the public by the participants.The rally covereda few public places likemarkets, railway stations and hospitals. As a part of the programme saplings were also planted on the Campus.
